Directions to Masonic Temple
1950 Massachusetts Ave., Porter Sq.

Masonic Hall or Masonic Temple, 1950 Massachusetts Avenue, Cambridge, one block north of Porter Square and the Porter Square stop on the MBTA red line and commuter rail. The hall is a three-story brick building with stone columns. It is directly across Mass. Ave from the Sugar and Spice restaurant. A map is posted at http://rcm.masonrypage.org/1950MassAv.php

Orchestra members can park free of charge after 5:00pm in the lot behind the Henderson Carriage Building at 2067 Mass. Ave. The HCB is the large brick building at the corner of Hadley Street and Mass Ave, about three blocks north of the hall, just past a Hess gas station. To access the lot you must be driving northbound on Mass. Ave (towards Arlington, away from Harvard Square). Pass the Hess station and turn right on Hadley Street. The lot entrance is on your left. Park in the rear of the lot, in the back row, by the fence. Do not park not in spaces reserved for the Elephant Walk restaurant.

Another parking option: there are eight first-come, first-served spaces directly adjacent to the Masonic Hall where orchestra members can park free of charge. There also are two-hour meters along Mass Ave. Orchestra members should NOT park in the Porter Square Shopping Center/Shaws lot (2 hour limit) or on the nearby side streets which are Cambridge resident parking only.
